Enriching Aged Care Incursions with Creativity and Nature

Therapeutic and Enjoyable

Our pot painting and planting workshops are not just fun activities; they offer therapeutic benefits, aiding in relaxation and cognitive stimulation for seniors.

Easy and Accessible

We design our sessions to be senior-friendly, ensuring that all activities are easy to follow and accessible, regardless of mobility or skill level.

Promoting Social Interaction

These workshops provide a wonderful opportunity for social engagement, encouraging residents to interact, share stories, and create together in a communal setting.

Memory Stimulation

The sensory experience of working with plants and colors can help in stimulating memories and encouraging conversation, particularly beneficial for residents with memory issues.

A Sense of Achievement

Completing a painted pot and planting a succulent gives a fulfilling sense of accomplishment, boosting self-esteem and promoting a positive mood.

Connection with Nature

Our workshops bring the beauty and tranquility of nature indoors, offering a refreshing change of scenery and a connection to the natural world.

Customized for Individual Needs

Understanding the diverse needs in aged care, we tailor our workshops to suit the abilities and interests of each group, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Pixie Pot (Mini 4.8cm): Ideal for lovers of all things cute and dainty. Perfect for adding a small touch of green to cozy spaces.

Classic Charm (Standard 7cm): Our most popular size. Palm-friendly and perfect for beginners looking to start their plant journey.

Generous Green (Large 9cm): Offers more room for creativity and a wider variety of plants. Great for those who like a bit more.

Majestic Canvas (Extra Large 15cm): The ultimate choice for big plant lovers and those who adore ample painting space.

Each participant receives a high-quality hand-sealed terracotta pot, a choice of succulent or cacti, painting materials, potting up materials and expert guidance on both painting and plant care.

The approximate duration of our sessions ranges from 45 minutes to 2 hours. This timing largely depends on the number of participants and the pace at which your group prefers to work. Whether it’s a swift, creative session or a more leisurely artistic journey, we pace our workshop to suit your group’s dynamics, ensuring everyone has ample time to enjoy painting and planting without feeling rushed.

We’re ready to cater to your group, no matter the size. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a larger assembly, we can accommodate any number of participants.

To ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable painting experience, we provide seating and tables for up to 20 painters at a time. If your group is larger, we can facilitate the workshop in rotations, or you have the option to provide additional chairs and tables. This way, everyone gets a chance to unleash their creativity without feeling rushed or cramped.

Certainly! We love creativity. Let us know your ideas, and we’ll tailor the workshop to your group’s needs.
